Directions to replace a lost filling:
- Wash the cavity area with warm water and do not dry.
- Cut with spade tool or pinch a small amount of Temparin Max from the vial, and roll into a ball between fingers.
- Slightly overfill the cavity with Temparin Max and tap into place with applicator tool tip.
- Wet your finger and dab down on the Temparin Max while it is still soft to create a smooth surface.
- Close your teeth together, as if you were biting down on a piece of paper, and gently chew or grind on the replace filing a couple times to create a comfortable bite.
- Use a moist cotton swab to remove excess Temparin Max from around the area.
- Temparin Max will set softly in your mouth within a few minutes, but avoid chewing on the repair for 2-3 hours to allow the material to fully set.
- Seal any remaining Temparin Max back inside the vial to avoid it hardening over time.
Directions to secure loose crowns, caps or inlays:
- Try the crown, cap or inlay first to see if you can fit it accurately back onto the tooth surface.
- If you are not able to do so, or if the remaining tooth is cracked, then do not proceed further.
- If the crown has a post attached to it or if there is tooth surface remaining inside the crown, Temparin Max may not adhere.
- Carefully rinse the tooth area and the inside of the crown, cap or inlay with warm water, and do not dry.
- Cut with spade tool or pinch a small amount of Temparin Max from the vial, roll into a ball between fingers and place evenly inside the crown, cap or inlay.
- Place the crown, cap or inlay on the tooth and bite down, applying pressure to push into position.
- Temparin Max will begin to harden within a few minutes, but avoid chewing on the repair for at least 2-3 hours to allow the material to set.
- Use a toothbrush to gently clear any excess material from around the crown, cap or inlay.
- Seal any remaining Temparin Max back inside the vial to avoid it hardening over time.

so after reading reviews i thought thought this wouldnt work but it was cheap so thought id try it out … i had a hole in one tooth and lost filling from another which was causing me the worst tooth ache ive ever had !!! .. what you need to remember is this isnt the same thing they use to fill a tooth at the dentist so it takes a while to set ! .. i brushed my teeth before then rolled up a small bit of the filling i used my finger to apply rather than the plastic tool as i wanted to press it in and make sure it was covered then just added another ball and pressed that it the i ran my finger under warm water and rubbed it over it to help set it in place .. i found when i closed my mouth it was a good idea to press down my top jaw to bottm to make sure there wasnt too much in and i would be able to chew ok .. after doing this i opened my mouth and with a toothbrush scrapped the little bits that had come loose of my tongue and sides of my mouth .. i applied this at night before i went to bed DO NOT TRY AND DO IT IN THE DAY TIME IT WONT WORK !! .. it needs a long time to set in place .. i went to bed at 11 and was up at 6am and it had set perfectly . the next day i tried to eat soft foods but the day after that i was eating pizza and crisps and ive had no problems at all .. the toothache i had was gone by the next morning as well i couldnt belie how well it worked ! .. the tooth with the hole ive had to re do a number of times as the hole isnt round its on an edge so it doesnt pack in as well and does crumble out if i crunch something very hard but thats to be expected ! but the tooth i filled with a hole in the middle of the tooth has never fallen out set hard and has been in place now for over a month ! .. to me an amazing product if you take the time to do it right and let it set .
This stuff is just amazing, just wash mouth out, dry the area that needs filling, get some of the filler out roll into a ball and fill the hole! It gets hard really fast and can last weeks if needed! I always have one of these in the house at all times, as you never know when you will need it
Really easy to use. Just cut a bit off and work it between thumb and forefinger to soften it up, roll it into a ball, then squeeze it into the cavity with your finger tip, where it begins to harden on contact with water. It doesn’t stick to your tooth as such, just moulds itself to irregularities in the cavity to stay in place. I apply it last thing at night and when I wake up in the morning it’s set hard and stays in place for a week or two.
You only get a small amount – a stick about 15mm long by 7mm in diameter, but that’s enough to patch up the very big hole in my back tooth at least 6 times I would say. The only truly bad thing I can say about this stuff is it’s giving me an excuse to put off going to the dentist!
